Schools Closed until December 2020 & Exams Postponed!

The education ministry has announced today that schools under the education ministry will be closed until the final day of the school year (17/18 Dec)! This includes all schools in CMCO and non-CMCO states. However, students and teachers are expected to remain online learning from now onwards.

This announcement is in line with the enforcement and extension of the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) in more states in both West and East Malaysia.

Schools will resume next year on 20 January 2021 for all primary school, Form 1, Form 4, Form 5 and vocational college students. Form 2 and Form 3 students will remain with home-based learning until 8 March 2021. The Ministry of Education also added that the public exams - SPM/SVAM/STAM will be postponed to 22 February 2021. STPM will start on 8 March 2021.
